Relive means to experience something again in your imagination. That experience can be a positive one or a negative one.
But in this question we refer to physically living a certain day again, going through the experiences or sensations you felt that day.

Notice how the last part of the question has the conditional would

If you could relive one day of your life, which day would it be and why?

So the start of your answer would also have would in it.
Answer: I would relive (the day / the event) ….

For example:

  • I would relive my wedding.
  • I would relive my 21st birthday.

So back to the question… If you could relive one day of your life, which day would it be and why?

A Special Birthday

What happened that day?
Would you want to relive it because of a gift you received?

In New Zealand it is your 21st birthday. In some countries it is your 15th birthday.

Wedding day
Why would you like to relive your wedding day? Maybe this time, instead of saying YES, you would say NO! (Just kidding!)

Was everyone you wanted at your wedding?
Would you change something about your wedding?

Birth of someone
Whose birth would you like to relive? Why?
What made that moment so special for you?
If you are the woman having the baby… would you really like to relive that pain again?

Travel moment
The day you visited a place you have always wanted to visit.
Your first time in a foreign country.
Last day before going to another country.

A romantic moment
The first time you met your partner.
A special date you were on.
The moment you proposed to someone or they proposed to you.
Your first kiss.

A sporting moment
The time you got the goal that won the match.
The day your team won the league or cup.
The day you became a professional in your sport.

Education
Your first day or last day or school.
The day you received an award at school or university.
The day you graduated from high school or university.

Career
The first day of your job.
The day you got a promotion.
The day you got recognized for your hard work.
A special award you got at your job.
The day you started your own company.

Another day
A day with a loved one that is no longer here.
A day where something bad happened to you so you could change it.
